Action Network Employment Counselling & Transition To Work Services
Assisting those who are motivated, anxious to work, but because of employment challenges have been unsuccessful in securing meaningful employment.
Clients can use the “Computer Access Center” for job search, receive assistance in overcoming barriers to employment including our “Record Suspension Program” facilitating finding employment which matches their skills, abilities and training.


A Step Ahead (Sector Specific Safety Certifications Program)
Provision of Custodial Safety, WHMIS, Fire Safety, ForkLift Operator Safety, ManLift Awareness, Flagging, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Fall Protection and Confined Spaces.
Career Opportunity Program
Offered to young adults who have experienced barriers to employment success and are interested in pursuing careers/apprenticeships within the traditional trades and other vocations.
Introducing local employers to a new pool of motivated employees.

Community Adult Learning Program
The (CALP) Program enhances the overall academic standing of those participants who have not had the opportunity to have completed their primary education.
Students learn the academics necessary for successful writing of the CAEC (formerly GED).

Provision of individual and family counselling based upon the Strengths-Based Brief Solution-Focused Approach.
Correctional Services
CISP
One-on-one counselling services for those on probation to provide guidance and supervision to clientele as per their case plan; to assist the client in developing links with stakeholders such as the courts, other government departments, private and public agencies; and to assist in the active recruitment of community programs and services for client attendance such as employment opportunities, leisure, and recreational activities.
Programs vary dependent upon participation needs.
ICPM
ICPM: One-on-one counselling services promoting positive attitude and behavior change through Cognitive Behavior Therapy which assumes that cognitive deficits and distortion characteristics of offenders are learned rather than inherent.
ICPM emphasizes individual accountability while attempting to teach and understand the thought process that immediately precedes actions. Programs vary dependent upon participation needs.
